A buddy wants to install an e-brake on his 2001 S.O. 5 speed......will this truck need the 60 pound exhaust springs or does it already have them?? I know the H.O.'s have them but am not sure about the S.O.'s....thanks.

 

All 24 valve Cummins are ready for an exhaust brake. Only the 12 valvers need stiffer springs.
