I have some trouble with my tranny after a fluid and filter change...wont upshift when cold from 2nd to 3rd... RPMs goes up and it's like it slip!
I have already replaced the Governor Pressure Sensor and the Tranny output speed sensor BUT nothing change..
Can I try cleaning the valve body? how to take out of trans? what can I clean..the valves? I need to disconnect the linkage or other parts before?

any help will be much apprecciate!

My Auto tranny dipstick was reading too low.

I added another 1/2 to 3/4 quart of ATF after getting some slipping and poor shifts following my last tranny fluid change and it made all the difference in the world.

 

Ditto on running just a pint over full in neutral.
Your description sounds more like Governor pressure soleniod instead of sensor.
Has KD band been adjusted proper? Or plum out of adjustment on locking nut.

 

I ordered the governor solenoid and also TCC & OD solenoid...I'll try w these parts and also a band adj..
it wont upshift only when cold...If I drive it a bit, highway and city, about 5 or 10 miles it then shift properly....!!
