radiator removal and trans lines

When I remove the radiator in my 98 ram 24v. diesel engine, do I need any special tools to remove the transmission cooler lines out of the radiator??" thanks running short on time, leaving for vacation when I pressure tested the radiator I had a leak at the tank/coil seam. The radiator shop says it is better for him to just change out the tank then for me to put in an after market Chinese radiator. whats your thoughts. Ed
