Puddle Under Truck???

Parked at work today and besides my normal water puddle from the A/C noticed an oily puddle. Hmmmmm, so I took her for a ride to change parking places, and low and behold, drip, drip. So I'm dressed for work, but what the heck climbed under the truck, dip, dip, sniff, sniff, diesel fuel While under there also noticed a small oil leak from my filter (stupid shop).

From the top, I can't see a thing. Only thing done recently was a fuel filter change, so I must have done something with that. The only place I see fuel from underneath is from the bottom of the filter canister? When not running, it doesn't appear to be enough to cause the drip (so it probably leaks worse while running). Just wondering what others have run into possibly. When I get home tonight its put the working digs on and crawl everywhere but thought while still at work I'd see if anyone had any ideas.

Nothing coming out the top of the filter housing, I ran my finger all the way around it and it is dry.

You may have cracked the ff housing or your water-purge is slightly opened.

This is likely the culprit. I've heard of more than a few leakers like this.

Do you have a Westach fuel pressure gauge? If so, check the sending unit - they'll leak around the terminal screws when the diaphragm fails (don't ask how I know.)

The water in fuel line makes some sense as that tube looked a little moist. I'll check it out close and personal when I get home let you all know who won the "bingo" - I'm hoping for the easiest solution.

Darren-G wins Bingo. The hose was pointed right at a hole in the frame rail, thus was only dripping when I parked on a hill at work, on level ground, no drip. Crawled under and watched it drip while running. Now just to figure out if my shop are idiots or there is another problem as the oil filter was very loose and leaking too. Thanks gentlemen.
