Just exactly what are you talking about? What is leaking and where?. By tossing around the $1100 figure, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you may be talking about an engine oil leak from the vacuum pump? If so, then yes, that can usually be fixed with a new o-ring for just a couple dollars and some of your time. At any rate, I think you're going to need to provide us with a few more details before anyone can comment for sure.
