Possible causes of injector leak....

So after putting my head back together I had a leak towards the rear of the head. I just put in new washers on the POS banjo fitting on the back of the head and pinpointed the leak to the #6 injector leaking at the high pressure line fitting. I tried taking the line off and lubing it and reinserting it but it still leaks. My thoughts are that I need to take the cross tube out and check the o-ring on that and then reinsert it and torque down the fitting nut. Does that sound right? Anywhere else it could be leaking besides there?

Good start, also check the tip of the connector tube, they tend to get nicked if you're not careful when removing and installing injectors.

I've got the metal connector tubes, can I clean those with something? Fine steel wool? I think the mechanic actually pulled the injectors out before taking out the connector tubes but they looked good to me. I'll swap the #1 and #6 connector tubes and see if it is the nut fitting or the connector tube....
