possible battery drain
I was wondering if someone could explain how to test my truck when its off to see if I have drain on my batteries been working on fender replacement on passenger side so has not run in a few days. tried to start it and was dead possibly left key on but dont think so. I have a multi meter but need a little help with how to hook it up and test and please explain so an idiot like me can understand I know some of you guys are good at this kind of stuff so it probably comes easy for you

They're going to ask you what year and stuff your truck is I would think. Are you sure the batteries are good? I thought I had a draw and was going to deal with it in the spring so I was keeping the batteries on a tender until then but then the batteries totally crapped out. I only use the truck a couple of times a week and sometimes not for a couple of weeks at a time but with the new batteries its great.
Search "parasitic draw".
you need a multi meter, disconnect the underhood light, wait about a half hour after shutting it off to be sure the central timer module has timed out and look for anything over .08 voltage drop, IIRC.
