Little help y'all. Gave my boy my 2000 dodge. The throttle pedal is dying. Starts right up on the first crank. 14 PSI @ lift pump at idle and 10 psi WOT. VP44 was changed at almost 80k. Has 165k now. Changed my lift pump 2x but it never died on me. Threw a P1693 code only. APPS or another VP44? What should I check. I did a APPS reset but no help there. Thanks.

 

The 1693 just means it is a companion code, means it is in both computers. Sounds like an app problem though. If you replace it I would go with the Timbo APP, you can find it on here.

 

my truck would loose the peddle and my first thoughts were another VP, even though my gauge was showing decent pressure, i would also get a CEL, that i could get to reset after cycling the key several times, i went with a timbo replacement APPS, and that has cleared all my issues

Installed the new TIMBO APPS and she runs great once again. My boy is happy! LOL Thank for your help.
