I am getting the p1740 again . Trans soenoid performance.

Could this just be a sticky or bad solenoid?

Seems to just code when cold, (winter time now)seems to shift good warmed up.

I used to just get the code in stop and go city driveing.

Im thinking(hopeing) its just a bad solenoid on my valve body.

I installed a SMR shift kit a couple years ago.

Trans oil has always been clean, no heavy loads. Trans was overhauled or replaced under warrenty at 78,000 just before I got the truck, got 120,000 now. I thinking its got the old solenoid maybe crap in it still and sticking
