Cam Sensor
Cam Sensor
I'm getting a bunch of codes......1690, 0215, 1689, 0219, 0341. I did have one very brief dead pedal for about 2 seconds about 4 days ago but nothing since. It's running fine and that includes excelerating on the freeway above 60 MPH. I have an intank lift pump and my pressures have remained consistant thru to course of issues at 9 psi idle/6-7 psi while cruising around. My tach has been acting up and hanging out down at zero briefly.
Of course I'm fearing the worst suspecting I may need a new IP. Can a bad cam sensor cause all these codes and the dead pedal????
I'm afraid to drive it because I don't want to add a tow cost to my troubles. I'm pretty new to the diesel scene and have only had the truck for a short time. Can the IP be slowly failing or do they go out all at once?
Thanks in advance.
