P0500 code.

I have that code in the computer and i am wondering where the sensor or sensors are located? its a rear drum brake axle with abs and ab auto trans. thanks

2001 QCLB 4x4 auto
the 0500 code is telling you the drive wheels were spinning without forward motion,or more likely the engine was running at a high idle for an extended time.......nothing to worry about

ok i was hoping that it had something to do with the O/D portion of the trans. cuase it jsut wants to keep hunting between 3rd and OD

it might just be a dirty ground or a weak alternator casing the hunting thats common to happen .and like was said P0500 is no biggie it happens on mine all the time

i found out the cause to the p0500 code. the trans output speed sensor was cracked apart. So i replaced that today and that trans still hunts quickly between gears and i have to let off the throttle for the trans to shift gears. thanks
