I got code P0500 doing the key trick. I looked it up on the tech page and it says: Vehicle Speed Sensor 1 Circuit, or No Vehicle Speed Reference Signal 1. Does anyone know what that means or what is wrong?

I believe it means that youve spun your tires....nothing to worry about. Unhook your batteries for a couple of hours and it should go away (did for me)..

 

I've gotten that code when using the cruise for longer than 45 minutes in temps below 20, as well.
