P0251 P0252 Question

I have this code popping up on my 2000 2500 24 valve? I had to drop my tank a week ago because there was water in my fuel. We broke the return line on the sending unit so for now I put it in the over flow back to the tank. I do not think the tank has a vent right now other than the cap.

The truck runs fine was running the return line in the over flow off the neck what threw these codes out?

Mods:
150 injectors
4" exhaust
blue chip box
Aftermarket turbo of eBay works great.
Air dog 150
Cold air intake

did you try draining the fuel filter??
I don't it matters where the fuel is returned to the tank..
just look at an AD setup..they add a return to the fill tube.

Codes went away and now the truck is cutting in and out when trying to get up to speed? Even though I have a Airdog do you think the lift pump is going out?

those are both failing VP44 codes
clear the codes and see if they go away.

Mine is doing the same exact thing, I dropped the tank to put a draw straw in and, and witht the new lift pump, it ran like crap.

Guys, you need to know and monitor fuel pressure. I intend to add an idiot light IN ADDITION to my mechanical gauge. I can't watch the gauge every minute & figure a light would call attention to the gauge.
