All I could find were these two.
P0251 Fuel Injection Pump Mechanical Failure Fuel valve Feedback Circuit
P0253 Fuel Injection Pump Fuel Valve Open Circuit
0252 seems to be missing, but where it's missing from would lead one to believe it has something to do with the VP44.

Just found this during my search dont really understand what its sayin tho
P0252 -INJECTION PUMP FUEL METERING CONTROL A, RANGE OR PERFORMANCE PROBLEM(cam/rotor/injector); fuel valve signal missing
some body please explain????????

P.S. I thinks it means my VP is about to take a crap (
cant wait im going to do the p-pump conversion if and when it does 
)
oh this is the 3rd vp in 165,000 first one was at 101,000 second@136,000
