the old cummins doesnt have the power it used to got the code 0236 i still have the bully dog torque dog with 3 settings. put on the brass restrictor fitting on waste gate that came from bully dog. fuel pressure 12-14 and 8-9 wot with a holley black pump. it will not hold the rpm you set it at jumps around alot reset apps last year. driving home today got alot of serging while pulling a hill cumin home. i did show over 20 psi of boost and did get 30 psi at one point. tried all three settings of the torque dog with little change. from idle to about 1400 i was ok anythng over that was bad. truck has being running with all the mods in signature for about three year with little problems.


no way to clear any codes. ready to ditch the truck and drive the tractor

 

Map sensor to high for too long. Probablly result of wastegate restrictor.
How long since it enjoyed a fresh fuel filter? Sure sounds like that.

 

the waste gate restrictor has been there for many years and did not throw a code till this week. i change my fuel filter with my oil at or around 8000 miles. been doin that for awile to.
i was thinkin that the torque dog mighta got tired and doesn't like foolin the ecm all the time??
