I was driving my stock 99 truck and it felt sluggish a low idle and later I was on highway and gave it more pedal to pass and felt a bit of a surge.....The check engine light came on right away....Just checked the codes and read the descriptions of the codes also....any ideas as to how to fix this problem?

 

Do you have a box or anything on the truck. Both of those codes relate to exceeded the stock parameters for boost. Possibly your wastegate sticking closed allowing boost to get too high.

 

I am totally stock.....if the wastegate is sticking how do I fix this problem...or verify that is what it is? Thanks!!

 

Sounds like the MAP sensor to me...
