Unhappy OK...help needed!!!!

Afew weeks ago my mechanic told me my pump was shot. So..he put in a brand new vp44 lightning pump from Scheid diesel and a FASS 95 system. When I picked the truck up it was stumbling pretty hard when in park or in nuetral..in drive it was fine...he told me to put a few qts of ATF#4 in my tank and run it through..he thought the injectors were clogged up. I did this and nothing..so..I bought new Edge jammer 3's and put them in this week. The truck ran like a top until this afternoon. I left work and all was fine until about half way home at a stoplight. I noticed the idle was down to 700-800 rpm's and when i accelerate it stumbles very hard until aboput 1700-1800 and then clears up....any clue whats up here? any help isd much appreciated.

first things first...(just my opinion)

do not put tranny fluid in your fuel! how much did you put in it? and how many miles since you added it?

Third on the trans fluid....that's a NO-NO with the VP (and the common rail for that matter....). This also wouldn't be the first time I've read about idle issues using a "high performance" VP.

Seems like its drawing air from somewhere., cross over tube or hp line nuts.

not sure on that causing a poor idle...however it could cause fuel to leak into the crankcase which can be checked (dipstick), or would cause a long crank time after it set for awile (overnight).

The truck never cranks over hard or takes much more than one or two turns and she is lit...the truck will sit in park,n,or in gear and idle fine...it only misses above 1k to 1600 rpms...after that it clears up...going to try to reset the APPS and see if it helps..if not..guess I will live with it...BTW..oil is totally clean....thanks for the hints guys..much appreciated.

I spoke with the guys at Sheid...they said it could be the injectors also..so...i put the new ones in...like I said..better for a few days..I havent spoken with them again but plan on it this coming week...It isnt a huge issue and only stubbles slightly at low rpms..so..if I cant get it I will ost likely let it go...I dont feel like paying big bucks for a new APPS and thats probaly the issue...I am hoping that the Egde juice isnt going to make it worse..guess I will find out soon.
