oil leak right under the crank pulley

I have an oil leak on my 2000 cummins

i have already rebuilt the vacuume pump and fixed that awfull eak but this one i have found to be coming from right under the crank shaft pulley

slow leak not really bad but leaves a puddle none the less and since i rebuilt the vacuume pump im on a mission to make it stop leaking if i can

so any guesses on what i need to do or what parts i need

i understand that my timing cover doesnt use a gasket on my truck but the timing cover housing which is directly behind it does so im not sure how to go about this problem

Could it be the crankshaft seal? Mine was leaking just enough to make a mess on front of engine. I changed it and now everything is dry.

Might it be the breather tube/puke bottle...?

Roberts probably right...Front Crank seal, possibly the timing cover gasket, since it is kind of hidden under the crank pulley.

The Front crank seal isn't that hard to replace, the hardest part is getting the crank pulley off, your home free after that.

Try here first. Much easier fix and most likely the problem.

Maybe a puller, my pulley came off with little effort after removing center bolt.

If you get the one from Cummins it comes with the driver tool. You can do it on the truck but I prefer to take the cover off and do it on the table.
