O ring Head and Block
Re:O ring Head and Block
My ETH was o-ringed last summer, because the deal was right and I felt it's a cheap insurance policy against a blown head gasket. My ffirst head gasket went almost 2 years ago and had me concerned ever since.

Boost isn't the only thing to be looking at. Drugs, timing, compression, and the various combinations of the four have to be considered. The simple use of propane and a timing box will almost assure a blown head gasket on an ETH.

Piers did the O-ring job on my head.....

Now as for why? I blew mine setting up N02. Currently I see in excess of 60psi when using drugs, without the drugs I run around 52-54psi.

Doug
Ok ... time for explanation. What kind of "drugs" are we talking about and how does this apply ? Is there a common issue with head gaskets ?

PISTOL
