It would be the one for a Vin engine code C. C is for intercooled, 8 is for n/ic.

The head gasket is the same for all 12valve engines. You have stock (p--n 3283335) .010" over (p-n 3283337), and .020" over (p-n 3283339). I have the -3339 on my truck, and love it.

2 diffrent types

i dont know the diffrence between the two, but there are two. with there own diffrent sizes. one for i/c, and non-i/c. i have been in the cummins parts book, at cummins.

i was just needing to know witch one i will be using by switch to the i/c head.

I'm not giong to try to refute you, but the numbers I listed are what I have picked up along the way. The 3283335 (stock thickness) went well on my nonIC 91, and the 3283339 (.020" over) is now on my 92. So, that lead me to believe that they were the same. The p-ns I have listed are the "marine" gaskets, which I think are the only ones available now.

That said, I'd go for the one to match the head.

other than the difference between the injector bores, the heads are identical, so buy the gasket that suits your BOMBs. JMO

That said, it don't matter what part number you ask Cummins for, it will supercede to either 3283335, 3283337 or 3283339. The only three headgaskets Cummins sells for a 12 valve.
