Does anyone know the thread specs of the fill plug for the 5600? I know it's a pipe thread, not sure on size though.<br><br>Thanks in advance!!

 

It's almost surely NPT. If you put a 3/8 square wrench/ratchet in there it's probably 1/4 NPT, same as the rear.<br><br>Chris

 

It's not 1/4 pipe, that's for sure. Pardon my brain fart when it comes to pipe thread sizing, but it's quite a bit bigger. It's a little sloppy around here to crawl under the truck, but it is about 7/8 to maybe an inch in diameter.

 

I just bought the Hex drive from the Snap On Guy solely for my Nv5600, I think its a 17mm I'll go check and post later

 

AS MonroeDiesel said it is a 17mm. If your cheap like me , go to your local hardware store, take a 17mm socket or wrench with you, go to the nuts &amp; bolt section, Find a bolt that fits your socket, ( probably) a 1/2&quot; size bolt and your done...Maybe .25 cents or more... Use a set of vise gripes with the bolt. If you are like me hell, get four bolts, always have spares.. ;D<br><br>Steve
