nv 3500 in a 2500 v8?

nv 3500 in a 2500 v8?

I need to know if they put a nv4500 in a 98 v8 truck or if they were nv 3500 like the half tons and v6 2500s. my cab rotted off my 2000 auto and i have a chance to buy a 98 with a 5sp with a blown 360 for cheap with a good body. i am gonna put my 24valve from my truck in it. just thoght if anyone knew. i just dont want to go buy a nv 4500 if i dont have too. thanks

According to WIKKIa pedia, they used the NV3500 in the half tons.

The V8 2500's should have the NV4500.........but the trans is different between the V8 and the V10/diesel trucks......different input shaft maybe?
