Non Normal Idle.

The truck drives fine and has pleanty of power have 18psi at idle and 14 at wot. When I am just normal driving, I take it out of gear when I come to a stop the truck is jumping all over like it cant find ou where it wants to idle, if you leave it for about 5 seconds it will idle smooth. If you run it hard from
1st to any gear and come to a stop it will die. It will crank right back up tho. If I am at idle and tap the gas it will jump like its goin to die, then smooth out. I have no idea what is goin on. It does this with the Edge comp on or off. Any help would be appreciated. Just got it back from the dealer for the brakes. They ran a scan on it. It was all clear and that was about a week ago.

Check the IAT, and if that is not the problem then start thinking about a new injection pump.

Well Just changed the crank sensor its the same still. When you are driving push in on the clutch the trucks idle is up and down from 1200 to 500 then it dies. It will crank right back up. Dealer said there was no codes agian.

Change your fuel filter.

Then, check the MAP sensor to see how dirty it is, this can add to the problem, so can a dirty IAT sensor.

Just bought a new map from dodge the other one was fine changed it any how, new IAT sensor last 5000 miles . It is starting to get worse, a few mins ago, it started to loap really bad almost to where it wanted to die. Its like it cant find where it wants to idle. Whats funny if I barely put my foot on the gas it all goes away. I am starting to think TPS sensor???

Last Oil Change As always. About 3,000 Miles. I have Road Fuel Deliverd To my place, fuel gets filterd there, then when I fill up the tank in the bed of my truck it gets filterd agian. Then the filter on the truck takes it. Its always clean as a whissle. I dont know what the deal is. If I am driving and come to a stop sighn it will loap but if I do the same thing over agian and just barely put my foot on the gas when i go to stop without reving it up it will not do it.

Clean all the sensors wiring plugs. Bouncy idle sounds a little like MAP sensor like pind said, so id start with that and replace it. MAP sensor has a good effect on your gas milage also, so it can practically be considered a maintenance item to replace.
