Talking Noise Maybe Hydroboost

Hi all: I have a 2002 24valve automatic and recently at speeds over 20 mph I hear a roaring noise which doesn't sounds like a bearing.. If I depress the brake pedal the noise goes away until I release the brake.. If I jerk the steering specially to the right the noise goes away for a second.. I have 58000 miles on this truck.. Anyone ever have this problem before? Regards; Mike

have you checked your power steering fluid to make sure it's not running low? brakes & power steering will make a lot of noise if fluid is low....
