No throttle respond

No throttle respond
Have 2002 dodge deisel 24 v.Sometimes when i start truck.Truck will start and idle at 1000rpm,
but when i step on gas petal there is no responds.Motor will not rev up,stays at 1000rpm.Can push
gas all the way to floor and stays at 1000rpm.Will correct its self after about 60 secs or so.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Welcome to the site.
First off, try this:

If that doesn't fix it, then either it is bad, or your VP44 is failing fast.
