buddys 01 6spd ho oil pressure gauge intermittenly reads 0 psi and check gauges comes on but all the other gauges work fine. what have you guys ran into truck only has 77,000 miles on the ticker. suspect oil pressure sending unit?????? also crank case is full of good oil. any thoughts

 

Classis oil pressure switch failure. Chack manually at filter housing to get reassurance.

 

I would have to agree. It's a common problem for these trucks.
