newbie changes fuel filter and starts truck

Guys I wanted to thank everyone for their help. I never posted a question on changing fuel filters but read what others had said. I picked my truck up in August and changed the oil, fuel filter yesterday for the first time. Once the filter was in I bumped the starter 3 times then she fired right up. If I can do it anyone can. Usually if it can't be fixed with a hammer I can't fix it, but this was easy. I used Delvac 1300 and filters from Geno's, fleetguards.

Now I need a fuel pressure gauge.

Congrats on getting it right. I have tried 3 times now and haven't got it right the first time yet. I have always ended up cracking an injector or two. Even the last time when I knew what was happening I still felt a tinge of panic in my stomach

I don't know about the hammer part. It's come in handy a couple of times on my truck.
