New VP44 and lift pump and blinking fuel light

I installed a new Vp44 and a new stock lift pump last week. I just installed the Fuel pressure LED kit today. I took it for a test drive and the light in blinking (flickering) when I am going. It is not as strong as when it is full on like when I turn the key on. Does this mean low pressure already????? I am not sure what to replace from here. I will get some sort of gauge tomorrow but I need to get this fixed ASAP, I am leaving on a trip on Friday and thought my problems were over and I don't know where to pick up a FASS in MN?

I changed the filter about a week ago, so about 500 miles.

I did the same setup to a girlfriend of mine. Ended up putting a big line kit on and that worked. The light you probably got is supposed to come on when you get lower than 5psi. Flickering i believe means your right around 5psi. I've also wondered if it could be some electrical interference from the something like the alternator. If it is just barely blinking you should be fine. 5 psi is just fine.
