I've recently been hearing a "clicking" sound that sounds like an exhaust manifold leak. I've felt all around the exh. manifold and can't feel or hear anything around it. The noise, from inside the cab, actually sound like it's coming from the drivers side of engine compartment. Any one ever hear anything like this?

 

Hey, i was just looking at this, i have a thread "ticking from under the hood" and i think im hearing the same thing, everything ive read points to an injector problem, or (sit down) a VP problem...

 

Mine has a similar noise, louder on the driver side. Passangers hear it less, but still feel what ever it is. Mine sounds almost like the intake valves on one cylinder isn't closing right. I've switch the injector out of that cylinder, same noise/no change. I'm still hunting it down, until then I'm going to let the problem develop. Should be easier to find then.
