Ok, going to need some help finding this problem. Driving back from Colorado last week pulling my camper and noticed a new noise. A bad vibration that only starts at 70mph, unloaded or loaded it make it. Its not a tire, and it didnt make it going to Colorado. Sounds like a Wheat truck driven at high speeds unloaded. Its got to be in the drive line and I already replaced both U-Joints 3 months ago. So, tell me, how many miles can you get out of the drive line I have 114,000 miles and about 8,000 miles ago I changed it out to Mobil 1, front and rear, only the front seals starting leaking 2 days after I dumped Mobil 1 in it "Thats just my bad luck". Also I must say the ole dodge did good, I didnt have to worry about 1 thing pulling 832 miles one way, I went slow 65mph and 70 down hill, the ole dodge is getting up thier in age. One more thing, it was about 97 degrees going across Kansas and the best thing I ever did was take out my radiator and wash it out, replace T-stat with 180 Cummins and dump in 4 bottles of Redline water wetter with Cat antifreeze. Temps never got about 195 and fan clutch came one about 9 times going threw the mountains. Thanks

 

Can't help with the noise....but congrats on solving your coolant temp problem. Doing all that at once, probably no idea which made the biggest difference?
