New FP gauge 8psi @ idle

I just got done installing a FP gauge and I am only getting 8psi @ idle. Driving down to 3 WOT. The truck just got a new LP (for the second time) and a VP44 800miles after the LP.
What to do next? Could the LP be bad already?

you need a pusher pump or fass. i get 8psi when i unplug my holley, 21-24psi with it. vulcans big line kit will help also. here the ph# 360-713-1549 erik, super nice guy will explain everything to you. dieselfan

What kind of price did you pay? I was looking into the fass but don't have the funds currently.

when you say new lift pump, is that a intank model? if so then that's about right. Dad has one in his truck and I installed a holley blue helper pump, now he can't pull it down past 15 psi

I believe it is, I asked them when they told me they were putting in a new LP if it was and they looked at me like I had three heads. 800 miles later when I had new VP44 intalled (differant dealer) they told me it was "the new style LP". So I assumed that meant in the tank. It was quite the run around getting everything fixed.

i paid about $230 from jegs for bully dogs big fuel kit, which is a holley blue with 1/2" lines from tank to lp. i m sure if you looked you could get a holley a lot cheaper, then get vulcans relocation kit for 69.95 or the big line kit which does away with the banjo bolts for 129.95 and come out alot cheaper than i did. dieselfan

Ok, sorry to kinda hi-jack the thread, but I'm havin the same problem, 6-7 psi at idle and the pump is a month old. It is an in tank pump, what can I do to raise the pressure? Can I or how can I put a pump in line with the in tank pump?
