Need Quick Ip Remove Help!!!!!

IC hose is pulled, all the top parts are pulled, wiring to the IP pump are pulled, 4 nuts on the pump are pulled, the bracket underneath is pulled and sitting on the bumper. what else is there?

it'll wiggle around and pull out a millimeter or 2 but it doesn't go any further. what else is holding it up? anything up front on the timing cover? i really don't wanna pull that but if i have to so be it.

any help would be GREAT

i'm calling bluechip tomorrow to ask them but was hoping someone could tell me so i wouldn't have to call

This might help. Not extremely detailed, but there are some pictures. I'll be in the same boat here shortly. You didn't get a reman, did you?

heck no! never get a reman part when you can get a new one from bluechip for 1300

trying to talk the old man into the 1600 bluechipped one. hoping this one will last alil longer then the last one did (130k miles) if this one dies, its going to the 12v pump. we should be doing that now but i don't have the time right now since i'll be going to school in about 10 days over at lima ohio.... diesel tech is only 2 years away hopefully

I pulled mine recently (in the middle of a rebuild) and I had to persuade it to pop loose using a hammer or mallet... can't remember exactly what I did, I just remember it needed some help.

I think it's the fact that it's such a delicate piece of machinery that people are afraid that they are gonna mess something up.

I have had several people tell me that remanufactured pump casings can meet specs and still be out just enough to cause failures quicker than normal or just never get the real power out of your truck. This makes them a crap shoot on what you get.
