Thanks for the reply. The code list doesn't show the p0576,any ideas. Also the cruise doesn't work and the air bag light stays on all the time. The radio controls on the steering wheel doesn't work either.I pulled the panel off that's under the steering and didn't see anything disconnected.

If the third digit in your VIN is a "1", your DTC means Infl Rest System Indicator Circuit Malf.
If the third digit is a "2", the DTC means Temp. Gage Data Out of Range
Has the truck been in a wreck? Have your insurance agent check it in the database the insurance companies share for vehicle claims data. This database has info Carfax will not catch. Do not trust Carfax.

Well, my son is now the proud owner of a 2001 Cummings.The clock spring was replaced at the dealers on recall,codes are gone, and things are going his way.
