I have gone through dozens of them I would bet in my jet sled and it got to the point the rep gave me a spare until the next one failed. This was over a 3 year period. Constantly breaking the plates loose internally. I sometimes had to link 3 batts to get the jet fired. Changed to a single Johnson Controls deep cell, problem solved.

Had the same issue in two different cars and trucks. Not my choice on batteries, just what we got on the cheap because of our contract.

Best bang for the buck batteries I have run are the CostCo batteries. Great no hassle warranty and good value.

i am in total agreement , my experience was the same.
the plates fell apart. the only battery that i've ever had that did that

Optima red tops have worked well for me.

I usually dont like Autozone too much, but they have great batteries - Duralast. I went with the top of the line larger of the 2 GOLD which had a huge cranking amp rating 34DT-DLG - 1000 cranking amps per battery and 8 year warranty. Higher than almost anything except the top of the line Die Hard which was double the price. I heard Die Hard and some other known brand (can't remember now) are now made by another company and they are not as good. Also, the Wal-Mart batteries are absolute crap.

I tried 1 Interstate and will never own another.
