I went to the dealer today to have an oil leak fixed under the cummins 100000 mile warrenty.
It is either a pan gasket or a rear main, They couldnt decide.
They put dye in my oil and told me to come back in 200 miles so they could see where the dyed oil was coming from. I told them thats fine and Ill see you in 200 miles then asked for my keys. Well he told me when I went to the casheir to pay my bill they would have my keys there.
To make a long story short, they charged me for the dye and 1/2 labor. Now if its a warrenty item (and they said it is) then why did I have to pay 50.00 bones?
Does this sound right to any of you? What should I do about it?

It's a dealer thing. You know they would charge you for breathing the air in the shop if they could....then try to sell you undercoating your shoes
