Napa oil filter

Thoughts or concrete knowledge on the Napa brand oil filters for our trucks? The guys at the local Napa are a lot friendlier to deal with than the big rig shop so I would rather buy from them. Thanks, Kurt

I thought Napa filters top line were made by WIX. Those were good filters if I remember correctly. KM

NAPA golds are made by Wix, a top line product. Been using them in my Dodges and my Cat motorhome for many years with no problems.

I've always used Napa Gold filters on my vehicles up until I bought my ctd. Now I used Fleetguard, mainly just for the piece of mind, but theres absolutely nothing wrong with the Napas. Even their 15w-40 oil is pretty descent.

Napa Gold's are re-named Wix filters. Same for the CarQuest Premium filters, being made by Wix that is. All I have ever used are Napa Gold and CarQuest Premium.

Good filters. The price is ok, some get a better deal than others at NAPA.

Geno's is hard to beat for the filter kit if you have the time to order them.

NAPA gold and Wix filters have the same part numbers with a couple of letters thrown in. Baldwin is also a good filter available from a heavy duty repair shop.
