mounting fuel pressure sender

I was thinking of installing my fuel pressure sender post filter to able me to diagnose a dirty filter. Anybody done this?

That's the way most of do it. Actually- I don't know anyone who is pre filter.

I installed my pressure sending unit on the bottom of my filter housing but i had to shim it up some so I could fit it between the filter housing and the motor mount.
