Fuel Pressure Sender Mounting?

I have a 2002 CTD and am installing a Dakota Digital fuel pressure gauge. I purchased the VDO sending unit as well as the 18" fuel pressure line from Geno's Garage. Does anyone have any suggestions as to the easiest location to mount the sender?

You can get a tapped banjo bolt. I think wildcat has those.

Do you have a pic of your gauge, and where are you mounting it?

If you want post filter-bottom of canister with banjo bolt. Pre filter-in front of canister.

Re:Fuel Pressure Sender Mounting?

Thanks for the instructions Jim. That seems to be the best idea I have come across yet. Wasn't sure if the sender should be mounted to the engine somewhere or to the firewall. I emailed Dakota Digital and they suggested mounting to the firewall because the vibration of the engine could shorten the life of the sender. Had a fellow employee at the machine shop I work at fab. up a bracket and it works great.

Thanks to all those who replied. Brent
