Re:Mile problems

LIke i said above about the year and mileage sofort, Kelly blue book says it should be 24000, I found this one for 19 so im curious to what might be wrong haha. But from what ive noticed if you want a 24v its gonna cost ya 16,000 or higher. Ive found couple lower but there straight cabs with really ugly paint so thats pry why.... all depends on your preference I guess. Or if your just out lookin for the diesel weather its a 12 valve or not ive found some 97's and stuff runnin around 8-15k all club cabs.... I have a club cab dunno why anyone would buy a straight haha. Hope that helps?

Re:Mile problems

That is not bad mileage at all.
Do you have any history on it like maintenance history, how it was used, highway or city mileage, etc?

Re:Mile problems

Just broken in. Miles put on that fast don't hurt an engine. It hasn't had time to cool off many times. My 98.5 is bumping on 200,000 and it should be good for at least 500,000. It all depends on TLC.

Re:Mile problems

TLC = Tender Loving Care.

There are lots out there with high mileage on these diesels. I know Cummins says something about overhauling at 400K, but if you take care of it you should need a new truck before you need to do anything major to the engine. ;D
Check around, you will find 12 valvers with close to a million miles or more on some of those trucks.

Chris
