master/ slave cylinder problem.

Never had a minutes trouble until other night coming home from lake.
Had drove about 15miles before coming to stop sign and put in neutral to come to a stop then could not put in gear to pull out onto highway.
I had a solid pedal but still would not go into any gear.
Finally went into a gear and I made it home.
I thought it was slave c. so I got one and put on today.
Boy what a pain without bleeder.
Have not got all the air out.
had a better pedal before i started.
Should i change out master also?
Don't have but 127 k miles

I always change them as a pair. Here is why, The master cyl has moved back and forth as many times as the slave and vise-versa. So if one is worn out how far behind is the other.

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
badme is correct. Dealer price is just a few dollars more than aftermarket and they fit the first time.
