Loud Squeal At Shutdown

Loud Squeal At Shutdown
When I shut down the truck there is a loud 1 second squeal. No such sound when running, it sounds like its in the front of the engine. Could it be belt or pulley related? Thanks

It will be the belt. No worries, it is common. When the engine stops, the rest of the driven parts still have inertia and the belt stops them and there is a little squeak.

I had teh same thing on my truck. I put a Fluidampr on and it stopped the squeal. Plus it smoothed out the engine.
