I found a crack on the intake manifold between the #3 and #4 runners, I read in another post that in these turboed engines, the intake manifold is under pressure at ALL times and not vacum like a non turbo gas motor, is this true? Is this a common problem? if under pressure, that would explain the reason I had to accidently find it, the engine does not seem to lack any power and runs just fine, if anything a little low on boost in the intake, is that correct ?
What do you guys recomend, replace it with a bone-yard peice, weld it, or is there something aftermarket reasonably priced that is not out of this world.
