I was finishing up bleeding the lines after a new LP install, and had the truck running on 3 cylinders, and then it died. No biggie, I cranked the other lines down tight and went to start it up again and I see a spark and hear a popping at the battery, and then I have no power or anything. I checked the fuses, they all appear good. I had been cranking on the truck for 20 seconds at a time trying to get the lines bled out, and I'm sure this had something to do with it because my battery terminals did get pretty hot, but I am at a loss for what has happened here. any help would be appreciated.

 

That sounds a lot like a burnt fusible link to me, although I am not sure where they are on our trucks.

 

They can "look" fine and be blown...check with a multi-meter or test light.

Thank you everyone for the help, after checking fuses and connections it turned out to be the most basic....a loose battery terminal that got loose from it heating up when cranking it. Problem solved.
