Loosing Power

I have a 2002, 2500 with 108,000 miles. Recently I have been experiencing a lose of power when traveling on the freeway and taking steep grades under no load. Also, yesterday, after a brief warm up, I also had no power until I traveld about a mile. When on the freeway and upon loosing power I switch the OD button off and the power comes back. This is under no load. I did show the boost gauge showing 0 boost. Could the waste gate be sticking open? Also no trouble codes or engine warning lights appear. I assume that one can push in the odometer button to get any trouble codes.

You have to turn the key on & off three times, on the 3rd leave the key on and watch the odometer, that is how you get the codes. Sounds like it would have some codes, but I'm not sure. Still learning about my truck for the past 1 1/2 years!

sounds like a VP44, check the codes, get your fuel pressure checked (best investment for these trucks is a FP gauge), and then go from there.

sounds like you will need a new fuel system tho.
