HELP!!! Power loss

I have an 02 3500, k&n, str8 pipe, max micro tuner. For some reason when i start off normally, not hard on the throttle, the truck will lose power for a split second and pick right back up...my mechanic said he has never seen this. It doesnt do it at full throttle, just at normal take off and will do it only from time to time. I noticed it worse yesterday while pulling my trailer. This has be a little worried as i know these truck are famous for the injector pump going out. no codes, and computer is only turned to perf. tow. any ideas or suggestions are apprecieated. thanx

Have you tried unhooking the tuner and then re-setting the ECM?? I know sometimes they will get things out of sink.

oh this may sound a bit on the obvious side and I don't mean to question your mechanical skills; but have you changed your fuel filter lately? Whats your pressure like?

yeah, thats cool, i just put a new filter on it last oil change less than 1500 miles ago and i dont know what the pressure is, and dont know how to check it, let me know how and i will take it and get it checked... by unhooking, do you mean just hook the tuner up and reload the program and see if that fixes it? or return to stock and unhook the batt for a little while? sorry if i sound ignorant, but i am at these diesels
thanx again

I would return to stock first to see if the problem goes away. Leave the ground cables off of both batteries for at least 3 hours. After you get them unhooked, turn the key on to drain any capaciters, etc that may still be charged. After 3 hrs, turn the key off and reconnect the batteries.
