Power Loss Help Plz

ok.. here it is i been running edge comp for about 8 months now and i just started to loose power and i have wierd times when it does have power... every once in a while the truck will just trow down some mean power like it use to and haul *** and then there are the times it just luggs around.... ok the first problem is the truck runs like *** when i have the A/C off and i have more power when the level of the A/C is on lvl 4......then there is the times when i take a right or left turn i have more acceleration off the line then when i take off from a standing straight away..... plz help me out i need to find out the problem.. people are telling maybe its the VP44 or the crank sensor but... i wanna find more info before i spend more money because i just started purchasing the peaces for a twin turbo kit and i need to get both of these things done soon "finish buying the parts for twin kit and the power loss".....

i think i have ruled out the tranny because at 70mph + the truck hauls ***... its below 70mph that the truck is luggish.......the tranny is not that old since the last owner rebuilt it so... that also makes me think it is not the tranny.....also the tachometer doesnt bounce or glitch on me... i just have a feeling the VP44 pump is not having a correct timing or something the truck runs a bit hotter then before aswell... the cooling system is being flushed this weekend hopely and the thermastat replaced...

Start with the simple stuff first. My "loss of power problem" was a inner cooler boot slipping off.

nope no codes i took it to the dealership more then once and all they can tell me is that the diagnostics read a boost elbow error one time but since then has not done it again.. I really wish i could figure it out because the dealership said they will not do anything untill it throws a code.

Do you have the wire tapped? If so I dont think the dealership is going to do anythng even if it does throw a code, reason being the tapped wire will void the warranty, but you probably already know this. Did they check your fuel pressure? What kinda FP are you seeing?

i have the F.A.S.S II my preassure is 18 Idle 17 driving 15 WOT......they gave me a bunch of bullcrap on the wire being tapped but i brought them a copy of the ACT that prevents us from voiding our warranty because under the act they cant deny your service unless they can PROOVE that it was the case of something failure
