Loc-Up Convertor Screwing Up Again

It worked great for several months, found poor connection at right battery to be original cause. Recently had to replace ABS module, tech at dealership set parameters for rear gears and tire size, lock-up hasn't worked since. It locks and un-locks constantly. I have installed a switch so I can still use truck but want it to work properly again. Any experience with this scenario? When ABS module failed, pump ran always, had to unplug it, but lock-up still worked fine. It's a 99 3500.

Just posted this for Durhamd...
Check your batteries and cables. Look for the proper voltage with each battery disconnected from the system (do one at a time). The drivers side MUST be in spec. Clean & tight cables at clamps?? Add a 2" clamp to Neg. terminal if any sign it might be loose.

Then reset the APPS. (batteries unhooked 1hr...replace...turn ign on slowly move foot pedal...turn off ign....test drive.)

Good luck,

Loren

Try wrapping the wire going from the alternator to the passenger side battery in aluminum foil. Sound like it's just getting noise. A common occurence in these trucks.
