Do some shopping around on the internet and find yourself a reasonably priced walbro GSL 392 fuel pump. Then go to wide open diesel and purchase the new fuel lines and hardware kit. Install. Lastly, sit back and watch your rock solid fuel pressure and smile as you have just ended your lift pump worries.

I put a BD lift pump in when my stock one starte failing. It gives me PLENTY of fuel for what I use. It costs around $240 as I recall and is VERY easy to install. FASS is better, but 3 times as expensive

Yes it has and I cant inderstand why.

As an alternative, look at the kits from Vulcan: www.vulcanperformance.com

IMO, the BD kits arent worth spending good money on. They are a bandaid fix at most.

Not necessarily true...you can get into a FASS (pump only) for $425 and that includes the big line kit from the filter to the pump.

I am getting ready to install the Fuel Boss Mechanical pump from Glacier. Nice looking kit and doesn't look too bad to install, going to throw a big line kit and FP gauge on there while I am at it.
