Leaking Tailshaft

Hi folks,

The tailshaft on my 241HD transfer case is wet/dirty, but the driveshaft is bone dry, and no oil slung up onto the bottom of the pickup body. It looks like it's leaking just enough to be dirty, not leaving puddles on the driveway. To remove it, is it just a matter of dropping the driveshaft, taking out the bolts on the tailshaft and pulling it off? Anything going to drop out, or anything I'll need to remove from the inside before it comes all the way off?

Plan on cleaning the splice and using silicone, or Loctite's 518 (?) gasket eliminator.

Thanks in advance,

Dewey
