So it has seemed like the truck just doesnt have what it used to have and i have wondered if the injectors are getting bad for some time. from a thread on here, someone said the symptoms of injectors starting to fail are: injector knock, white smoke, crappy fuel economy, rough idle etc etc. well the idle is kind of funny at times, though its hard to hear. fuel mileage seems to be somewhat normal at 17-18mpg. no white smoke that i know of.

there are two videos below that i took of the motor running. in the first video there seems to be a knock at around 3 seconds in. is this injector knock?

are my injectors starting to go bad? for what its worth, i have 175k on the clock.

Noisey rascal ain't it?
Mine's noisey too even with what I've added.
I've heard that some fuel additives will quiet one down a little.
Stanadyne Perf. quieted mine down a little and it seems to run some smoother.
